Passport Application Information

Preparing for U.S. Passport Day
Please read carefully to expedite your processing

This information is provided as a courtesy to you and serves as general guidance. Please refer to www.travel.state.gov or call 877.487.2778 for specific questions.

Note: Make ALL required copies prior to your visit for easier processing times.

We need you to sign up on our website (www.travisafrc.com) if you plan to attend the U.S. Passport Day. The number of signups on the website determines the number of State Dep't personnel who are sent to service us. If only 20 people sign up, they will send one person. If we then have 70 walk-ins, that person will have difficulty servicing everyone.

The passport personnel see folks on a first come, first served basis, between 10am-2:30pm. It is the most crowded at 10am, so please take that into consideration and come in the early afternoon if your schedule permits.

At the present time, the State Dep't comes to Travis once a quarter. Processing time here is faster than if you go to the post office since the actual State Dep't personnel are here to take your applications back to their office.
